Planning trip to Spain/Portugal in 2017. We should be in Granada for 1.5 days in mid-October. We are seniors and thinking of using the Tourist Train for the 2 days ticket. The FIRST day (and we won't get there until 3-4 pm), we thought we'd walk around the Cathedral and then take the Tourist Train from there to San Nicolas for nighttime view of Alhambra from there and then catch a performance at Jardine Zoraya. Guess the performance gets finished late, so the only way back is taxi to our hotel We want to start our SECOND day in Granada by visiting Alhambra and then Albaicin - get off at Paseo de los Tristes, hop back on and - get off at San Nicolas, - walk around to Placeta San Miguel Bajo, - hop-back on for other sights like Monastery, etc For the SECOND FULL DAY of sightseeing (we leave next day) 1. Is this even practical 2. Can we take bus near our hotel at Calle Alhondiga or Catedral to start with. 3. If so when would the FIRST bus get there 4. Or, to save time in the morning, should we start by taking a taxi to Alhambra and start the 'Tourist Train tour' from there ALL opinions and suggestions welcome
