Despite their leaving the state, Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier on Monday said an investigation into the Tate brothers "is still ongoing."

Self-proclaimed misogynist Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan arrived in Florida last week from Romania, where they are facing charges of human trafficking, setting off a fervor of concern and anger – and a state-level criminal investigation.

Andrew and Tristan Tate fired back at the DeSantis administration after the state opened a criminal investigation against them. But they are now apparently leaving the state. “I’m going back to Romania in a few days anyway,” Andrew posted shortly after news of the probe came out.

Florida’s attorney general has opened a criminal investigation into Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan, who traveled to the U.S. last week. James Uthmeier yesterday confirmed on social media an investigation was underway.
