Former Nebraska volleyball coach John Cook issued a final farewell message on Sunday evening. The coach shocked the volleyball world when he announced his sudden retirement last Wednesday. The former head coach led the Huskers to four national championships,

Cook’s 32 years as a college head coach also include seven at Wisconsin. Since taking over the Nebraska program in 2000, Cook guided the Huskers to four national championships, 12 NCAA Semifinals appearances, nine Big 12 titles and five Big Ten titles.
