The Green Bay Packers might need a wide receiver this offseason, but it turns out that the team didn't seriously pursue a trade for DK Metcalf or the signing of former Packer Davante Adams.

Although the Packers were the favorites to land Davante Adams, the veteran receiver officially signed a two-year, $46 million deal with the Los Angeles Rams.

If everything goes according to plan, Davante Adams will finish his career with the Los Angeles Rams. At least, that's what Adams' agent told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport after the 32-year-old agreed to sign a two-year, $46 million contract Sunday night with Los Angeles.
