Chinese phone brand Infinix is known to show off a flashy concept, and at this year’s MWC the company is looking skyward for inspiration. It’s showing a phone with an integrated solar panel on the back,

Infinix has a few concepts, specifically a case that uses solar energy to charge the device. There's also a phone with E-ink tech at the back.

Imagine having a phone that can stay charged by simply being exposed to light. On Sunday, ahead of the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Infinix showed me both a solar-powered, wireless charging case that can go on any phone as well as a phone with a mini solar panel built into its back side.

Solar power comes to phones, thanks to Infinix, and as limited as this technology right now this is definitely something I want to see more of.
