2020年12月14日 · Other than a bit of morbid curiosity, those the load for .50 cal, is the base of a .50 cal similar in size to that of a 12 gauge? Would they have been using a 20 gauge. Is a .50 cal base even remotely close to the base of a shotgun round? How would they get it to fire if the bases were not similar in dimension?

2020年3月26日 · I use 7/8 oz of #9 shot and claybuster wads. I reload them on an old blue Bair/Pacific press. I like to reload shot shells, some guys don’t. No more than they cost and as few as we shoot you would be hard pressed to amortize new equipment but my press, 12 ga dies were and the hulls are free. And I can load my version of featherlight shells.

2012年3月7日 · I have two MEC Jrs (12 gauge and 20 gauge) and have reloaded a bazillion shells on them over the years. I have never had any problem resizing on them, but I will admit I only reload Winchester AA or Remington STS hulls so I dunno how tough it would be to load inexpensive hulls with steel bases.

2022年8月17日 · I have several Rossi shotguns. 410ga, 20ga and 12 ga. Stick with the 12ga. It is easier to load on the clock. Easier to barrow rounds should you run short or forget yours. More choices for commercial rounds. The 410ga is the most expensive gun. Less than 600 imported. I had a TTN 12ga and find it heavy.

2016年2月7日 · I have 3 double trigger 3-1/2" tens. One has a long barrel for cowboy trap. They work for me. I also have an 8 gauge 4-1/4" Parker.It was my great grandfather's. To my knowledge, none of them have ever had a problem. They have had tons of BP through them. I prefer double triggers. IMHO, they are faster than single triggers.

2021年10月13日 · I saw Coyote Mercantiles video last night and ordered one. It was $79.99 and free shipping. I have just loaded 250 shotshells - AA once fired hulls - some I loaded a few days ago (I gauge as I load - won’t gauge now). I ended up with about 25-30 that wouldn’t gauge when I went to box them for regional this weekend.

2021年2月16日 · Howdy folks, I'm new to SASS and considering a shotgun purchase. I'm leaning towards a SxS, 12 gauge or 20 gauge is the question. I noticed that 20 gauge guns are legal according to the handbook and I think the reduced recoil might be a positive, but knock down power may be a problem. Please help...
