2020年2月15日 · Same here - down puffy is a great pillow to use atop other clothes/items in a sack. I wonder how it would be as a "topper" to an inflatable pillow. Side sleeping requires higher pillow height for me. If I don't have to hike far to the backcountry site, I'll strap on a walmart travel pillow and case, and stuff my puffy on top of that.

2021年3月17日 · 100% side sleeper I've switched to the BigA sleep system bags. Having the bag attached to pad was a game changer for me. I have a Big A, down, Anvil Horn zero and a Lost Dog synthetic 30. I flop from side to side all night. It's like sleeping in a regular bed. I think my zero is 3 lbs. The 30 is lighter.

2005年10月25日 · Side and stomach sleepers who are considering using a mummy bag with a hood as a quilt should consider whether or not you have a "preferred" way of turning your head when you sleep and choose a left or right zip bag, accordingly. Choose the wrong side for the zipper, and you may end up facing into the hood.

2016年3月4日 · You might also review the dimensions of a comfortable sleeping bag you have or can demo as a guideline. I went by my narrow mummy cut WM Highlite Long with a 60" shoulder width as a minimum as a side sleeper turner and worked backwards concluding FOR ME I could afford losing up to a 6" wide trapezoidal strip of the sleeping bag under me.

2010年9月6日 · Several years ago I bought a center zip over the chest down bag. As a side sleeper (both sides), I ain’t never going back to side zip bags. Also works best when you use your bag open as a quilt. My only complaint is that there isn’t enough selection on the market. I'm the same as you, sleeping on both sides, moving a lot.

2012年3月13日 · Thanks Hooch! That is the exact hammock model I am considering. I am a side sleeper as well and I like the idea of the large footbox for an asymetrical lay. I also like the idea of the double layer so I can put my pad in between the layers to prevent slippage at night.
