Look at t. 310.15(B)(6) for the wire size and then go to the back of the book and look at Annex C Tables. If the riser extends beyond the roof and will support the overhead lines then it must be rigid, otherwise, PVC, emt rigid etc will work.

2011年10月9日 · Okay take this a step further. Table 310.15(B)(7) allows se cable into the equation. Does it state that se cable must have all the same wire sizes. With your thought process if I use this table then I cannot undersize a neutral conductor at all simply because the table states 200 amp-- 2/0 copper conductors.

Voltage Drop. 230 feet, 3/0 aluminum, 150A @ 240V = 3.89%. That is slightly higher than the typical "3% or less" but not by much, and at 120A (80%, which is all you should really be at most of the time) only 3.11%.

2020年7月6日 · Can you confirm that you take the size of the overcurrent protection device, and not the load demand calc on a panel to apply the 83% rule. I have an existing 150 amp panel with a 2/0 AL. wire. Appliances were added and the new load demand on the service is 140 amps. So do you apply it to 150 x .83= 124.5 amps or 140 x .83= 116.2 amps.

2015年4月7日 · The length from the main panel to the workshop is about 105 feet. I will be using a double pole 60 and GFI circuit breaker in the main panel to a 60 amp pull out on outside of work shop then inside to the subpanel. What would be a good size wire. I may run one saw at a time or a couple of saws.
