2023年12月20日 · I tried messing around in "Acer purified voice console" programme and turning off everything, but that seemed not to help. Also, when i try to change input device to laptop microphone, headphones mute, i can see people talking on discord, but cant hear them, i cant hear music too.

What you downloaded is a LONG way from "latest" Acer release anyway, AFAIK it's 6.0.9180.1 with UI 1.27.253.0. Maybe this discussion in Acer community helps you. 2020年6月23日 · After tooling around for a bit I found in the Realtek Audio Console that Acer has a shitty mixer called "TrueHarmony" that they enable by default. Turn it off. It ruins the original mixing in any sort of audio - music or otherwise. You should notice an immediate improvement in audio quality. In other words, things should sound normal.

2023年7月21日 · The night before, Acer had auto-installed something called the Acer Purified Voice Console. Prior to that, I had zero problems whatsoever, so I thought at first it was the issue and uninstalled it. No dice. I checked the drivers, made sure they were up to date. They were. I manually reinstalled the Realtek driver. Again, no dice.

2023年9月7日 · Yes, it was the Acer Purified Voice Console turning on AI noise reduction by itself. I think it turns on everytime I go on a conference call. I make sure to open the app and turn it off.
