2017年11月6日 · I want to calculate a color gradient between #DB3236 and #FADBDB based on the COUNT values. For example "Pumpkin" = 345 and has the strongest color, and "Apple" = 22 which is the weakest color. Even though "Potato" is in the middle of my table it only has a Count value of 62 which means it will be quite weak on the color gradient scale.

So using some gradient as an indicator of the surface is entirely correct in my view. If I wanted to add reflections/shadows to something like a phone or tv remote, I wouldn't start by applying a gradient to the base shape. The base shape would be a solid color, then highlight and shadows are built on top of that base shape.

2019年10月4日 · I've created a color scheme on Adobe Color web page and exported it to use on Illustrator (let's name it as "my custom palette"), now I have one more color and one gradient I'd like to add to that library, which I've exported from adobe color to an ASE file. I already tried to click, hold and drag to "my custom palette", but it didn't work.

Use formula Y=255 - P*(255-X) where X is a RGB number, P=opacity (0...1), Y=new RGB number which should give the same appearance with 100% opacity as X gives with 100p% opacity against white background. The formula is the general opacity formula, only simplified for this special case - the partially transparent top layer is against pure white.

2016年5月26日 · Another method for Photoshop could be to simply grab the Gradient Tool, set a color to transparent gradient and then drag from a corner. Repeat for each of the 4 colors. The problem with this method is that each time you drag, the length of the gradient will be different. So, you won't end up with 4 equal corner gradients.

Layer "Target alone" has the gradient and layer "Modifier" produces a continuous color shift by blending mode "Color" To make all twisty, the modifier itself is a gradient. More twist is generated by an adjustment layer "Curves" that add contrast. It has the same layer mask as the Modifier, but that's not obligatory.
