Open the folder or library that you want to sort in the File Explorer. Go to View on the top and expand the View ribbon by double clicking on it. Click Sort by, and then select Name, then click Ascending. Hope it helps.

The folders, followed by the files, will be in ascending alphabetical order. If you click again so the mark points downward, then the files followed by the folders will be in descending order. Each time you click, the order reverses. The same process works in the Open and Save As dialogs of the Office programs.

2010年5月17日 · This is a good workaround (thanks Mr. Wizard) if you want to view files that way - but the procedure does not fix how Explorer Files are sorted in the folders themselves. And you'd have to do it every time you viewed a folder since the search procedure would not transfer automatically from window to window and could not be set to do so.
