That means the classic dip in fighter 2 isn’t such a huge deal anymore, but its still a significant improvement. * Extra Attack, Lvl 5. It’s the reason this level is such a power spike for classes.

2023年9月8日 · From my table top years of playing experience, I always thought fighter was a sub-par dumb repetitive class. Never played one and never had a friend played one. Then I made one for my Durge playthrough and Im quite impressed. It is powerful, reliable, very resilient. In most encounter, my fighter enable the party's tactic and get shit done.

Fighter is a very noob-friendly class: it's intuitive, scales decently well into the lategame, and works with pretty much every brawler-type gear you can find. This, when BG3 came out, lead to uninformed, and frankly rather stupid claims of OP-ness, such as in this popular Youtube Shorts .

The main things Paladin gets is spellcasting at level 2 (extra support, or burst damage with smites), and their auras to support themselves and allies at level 6, 7, and 10.

2024年1月3日 · But the barb will waste a bonus action turn 1 for using the enrage and will only do 3 attacks + 2 from Action surge , while the fighter will have much better alpha strike with 6 attacks + 1 from the bonus action GWM So if you want a mono class then fighter all the way with Eldrich knight being by far the best one early game
