2013年5月10日 · Re: scotch grip 847 cure time?? It starts to dry just about immediately. In fact you have to be right on the ball or it will get ahead of you. For complete cure once assembled, I dunno. Frankly, I've never waited on it, just filled it with oil and ready to go.

2007年3月7日 · OMC Adhesive M is 3M Scotch Grip 847. OMC Adhesive M can also help to hold the Exhaust Seal in place during reassembly. If you want that long seal in the impeller housing to stay in place, glue it in the slot with one of the sealers and let it dry enough so that it won't turn around when you turn the impeller.

However, after 47 years of being in the water and out in the humid air, none of the external powerhead bolts had any corrosion.

2008年6月28日 · Adhesive M is a 3M product called Scotch-Grip and also called 3M 847. The product is resistant to gasoline, oil, water and grease, which is what you need. Loctite and Permatex have similar products. Silicone products are not very suitable.

2013年4月30日 · OK, so you are saying you ordered the 847 that is a thicker viscosity vs, the thinner viscosity that says it can be brushed or sprayed? I am having a difficult time deciding what to buy. I see that scotch grip and scotch weld is the same, they just changed the name. But I also read that there is 847L and 847H... Low and High viscosity.
