As for collecting, when I first started buying vintage clubs on eBay a few years ago I kept coming across Stan Thompson woods and they always looked great to me.

Apr 17, 2016 · Stan Thompson offered stainless steel Gintys in the 1980s and frankly they were inferior to the wooden version by far. The Ginty and the Cobra Baffler are probably the best fairway wood designs of all time, including everything that has come along since.
