2010年12月29日 · Staples had a kind of roll-out wooden chair mat, made of a bunch of small slats of wood/bamboo held together by a fabric backing. It wasn't as cheap as the plastic chair mats, but it also works comes a lot close to working properly on thick carpets.

2004年9月6日 · That's how CRT's work though - you have three electron guns encased in lead at the back of your monitor shooting electrons through a screen (Aperture Grille, Shadow Mask, etc.) and then projecting an image on the glass. The thick layer of glass is what keeps the electrons at bay, but it's a pretty unnerving process when you think about it.
