Goodbye and best wishes to this striped mud turtle! This turtle was picked up by a dog in the grass along the edge of a lake and the rescuers noticed a missing back leg and were concerned, so they brought her to the wildlife hospital. Upon admission, the turtle did not appear to sustain any injury from the dog and the missing leg was in fact an old, well healed injury, including the missing edge of her shell.
