There’s more to this dress than meets the eye. It’s dyed using biological DNA pigments grown in bacteria. Nomzamo Mbatha graces the Green Carpet in a beautiful dress designed by Christie Brown and made using Colorifix technology. Colorifix – an Earthshot Prize 2023 Finalist – recreates the DNA of colours found in nature to dye fabric. Its tech uses less water, less energy, and no toxic chemicals for a cleaner future.
